About the Host
Meet the compassionate host, Steve Vaccaro, a psychologist and the driving force behind the Chapters Community Support Services non-profit organization. Hailing from Valley Stream, he carries a profound connection to his adolescent years, marked by sadness and loneliness. Steve experienced the upheaval of being transferred between four foster homes and two shelters after his father’s abandonment and his mother’s struggle with multiple sclerosis, leaving her unable to care for him.
Driven by an innate passion for helping and giving back, Steve embarked on a noble mission by creating the inspirational show, ‘Chapters Rap.’ His goal was clear – to educate, empower, and advocate for families navigating through life’s challenging transitions. Drawing from a rich and extensive career of supporting and educating people, Steve believes in focusing on individuals’ abilities rather than their disabilities, guiding them toward a brighter future.
Today, with his transformative journey as a guide, Steve Vaccaro dedicates himself to assisting others as they navigate their hardships. Through his unwavering dedication and empathetic approach, he aims to be a beacon of hope for those in need, shining a light on the path toward healing and strength.
